January: I moved out of one leaky ASU campus apartment, into a larger (but still leaky) campus apartment.

February: After arranging for all of my classes to be in either my major or minor field, it hit me that I don't actually want to fill my life with either of them. Decision to escape Arizona ASAP followed.

March: The dizziness caused by my poor desk-sitting posture started to get really bad in March, causing a great deal of defensive medicine. Oops. As a result, I acquired pictures of my brain, and a rather nice walking stick. On March 20th, the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] zeightyfiv and I first started to explore the idea of getting married.

April: Maintenance finally got serious about fixing the leak in my new campus apartment, ripping out the bathroom ceiling and slicing & dicing corroded pipe until they found something solid. On April 14th (30th Nissan), I completed the process of converting to Judaism.

May: Due to schedule conflicts, I had to vacate my campus apartment before finals. Spent two thoroughly miserable weeks at my Mom's house, then flew out to Boston.

June: Read books, mostly. Towards the end of the month, I went to Seattle to meet [livejournal.com profile] zeightyfivs' parents.

July: Went from Seattle to Phoenix, to pick up my belongings in a moving truck. Took our time driving, stopped at national parks where we could, and crossed the country in two weeks. Then.. Unpacked. Most of my belongings went into the basement.

August: Promptly moved my belongings out of the basement, into the house we're currently renting. Decided that I was done with this moving business, and living there ASAP. Other housemates joined me at the end of the month. At that point, I had been in the process of moving for 3.5 months. I'm glad it's over.

September: A little settling in, then the semester and the Jewish holidays started, at the same time. Those two things took up the vast majority of my time. Gained health insurance coverage, made appointments.

October: Class, wedding preparations, setting up garden beds for spring.

November: Class, wedding preparations, health insurance wrangling. Downstairs furnace broke. Spent Thanksgiving with [livejournal.com profile] zeightyfiv & family in Seattle. Furnace was fixed by the time we got home.

December: Whoa, where did last month go? Oh, right.. Chanukah, finals, broken downstairs furnace (again), blizzard, furnace repair, dressmakers.

On the whole, 2010 was eventful. I do hope that my escape from Arizona will stick this time.
