Seems to be a recurring theme in this journal.

Two-and-change weeks after discontinuing the suspect medication, I'm still having problems with feeling dizzy and lightheaded, so that part of the theory is disproven. On the other hand, I started feeling less queasy that first week, and I'm more able to relax than I have been for months, so it did provide some relief.

The dizziness problem is partially managable by eating every two hours. I have trouble remembering this, because I don't generally feel hungry (even after a small but satisfying meal) that soon after eating. So I end up with days like today, where I completely spaced on when to have lunch and am now missing class, because I'm not at all confident in my ability to walk there.

Most frustrating? I still don't know what's wrong. My blood sugar and insulin levels are perfectly normal, even when I'm symptomatic (which rules out things like hypoglycemia). Nor do I have inner ear problems that current tests are able to track down. Meclizine, commonly prescribed for dizziness in general as well as motion sickness in particular, does nothing but make me sleep. My next GP appointment is Monday.

ETA: Dramamine also does nothing, but at least seems not to knock me out quite as thoroughly.

So frustrating and horrible, I hope you manage to find an effective answer soon. One with an easily workable solution, I also hope. *hugs*
