Feeling somewhat less crummy, with the addition of strong anti-allergy agents. If I'm actually getting a cold, that could turn out to be bad in the long run, but for now my sinuses have stopped trying to drown me. This doesn't change the fact that earlier in the day I was desperate enough for hot tea to soothe my throat that I drank what was offered on the airplane with a minimum of caution. The inside of my mouth is still unhappy about that, but I can't find any blisters, so I'll probably be fine in a week.

It occurs to me that airlines are in a bit of a jam when it comes to offering hot beverages. You need near-boiling water to get good tea (with the exception of sun tea, which simply isn't an option onboard) and presumably the same applies to good coffee. But on the other hand, they're serving it to people in confined and potentially turbulent conditions without so much as a lid. There's a lawsuit waiting to happen, there.

All that aside, the standard tea (most likely a broken orange pekoe or fannings thereof, since it was in a teabag) was okay with lemon, but really needed honey. Right now, everything needs lemon and honey, though. I've been drinking otherwise unseasoned real teas rather than inflict that on the interesting herbal ones that I picked up during my trip. I may even try it in oatmeal tomorrow morning.

Returning from the long digression on tea... my back aches from airplane anti-ergonomics and carrying luggage, and then more/again for groceries. And I need to go to bed. Good night.
