403: A rack of test tubes with the caption "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate". (Solution or precipitate)

It's been drizzling lightly for most of the day, with occasional interludes of heavy rain. I spent most of the alleged daylight hours paying down sleep debt rather than doing anything productive.

As far as storm prep goes, we have plenty of water and food that doesn't require cooking. I'd be irked if the weather remained too awful to barbecue for more than a couple of days in a row, though. (We have an electric stove & oven, so I'm not expecting them to be available continuously.)

No rain at the moment, but the pavement is clearly wet outside. Light wind with a strong gust every minute or two.

SOP for hurricanes and tropical storms is to assume that your tap water has been "contaminated" until proven otherwise. Last night I learned that they don't mean run-of-the-mill broken water main contamination, but contamination with raw sewage. Ew. Glad I filled a bucket with wash water. Wish I'd thought to grab a bottle of hand sanitizer.
