Travel, interrupted

zeightyfiv and I are heading to Milwaukee for the wedding of two friends. At the moment, we've gotten an extra 1.5h and counting of layover in Baltimore, due to the weather just west of here. They let us off the plane after the first hour. ~30min until the pilots get another update from air traffic control.

Wheeee.

ETA 21:09: "The path that this particular aircraft is scheduled to travel remains closed due to the weather." The plane needs to go to our destination, so they're not going to cancel the flight. We all just wait until the weather permits us to go somewhere.

ETA: 23:50 Central time: On the ground in Milwaukee. Landed about an hour ago. About five minutes after the last update, they told us to get on the plane ASAP 'cause we'd been given clearance to depart. Turbulent ride, even including the detour into Canada to avoid the main area of the storm.
