Dear Self,
Trying to do anything in the MIT student center (except leave) is a singularly bad idea. The sound bombardment from other's conversations + radio(s) turned up to be heard over people + TVs turned up to be heard over everything else will get to you. Keep this in mind next time you find yourself in that building. Also? Earplugs won't do as much good as you think they will.

[ETA: I did get what I went there for, which was this year's flu vaccination. I then made the mistake of sitting down to eat and (try to) read my bio textbook.]
