Glasses update

Yay! I can see again!

My primary glasses were bent subtly and not-so-subtly incorrectly in three places. The glasses shop made short work of it. The spares that broke yesterday took a while longer, since the guy wanted to think about shaving down the akward edge on the left lens that allows it to pop out during ordinary cleaning. He decided he didn't want to take the chance that it wouldn't fit at all afterwards, so I'll just have to try to be more careful with them. The wire job that zeightyfiv helped me put it together with yesterday has been replaced with a nut and bolt, so I don't have to worry about that point being any more fragile than the rest of the glasses.

Then on my way home I got mildly lost and stumbled into the Davis Square farmers' market. Since it's right behind the post office, I was able to orient myself again. But I got very sidetracked and came home with lots of food. Think I'll go eat some of the tomatoes now. :9
