403: Listen to the song of the paper cranes... (Cranesong)

I've discovered that it's easier to pack a minimal set of things I'll need when I arrive, than to figure out what I don't need right now and box that up. So I've got one of housewares, and most of one full of food (just waiting on the bread flour) that need to get stored somewhere on campus, so they'll be available immediately when I return. As soon as I'm done packing the mini-suitcase, all other clothes will be extraneous and can be packed. I'm hoping this strategy will also prevent the unpleasant discovery that I've already boxed and sent off something that I need, but if it does, that's icing on the fact that it's easier to do to begin with.

On the other hand, the thought that when I next finish washing dishes, I can box them up, is probably the most demotivating one ever.

And for a random closing news snippet, the week that I've had a hot glue gun is all that it takes to demonstrate both why they're awesome, and why I shouldn't have one.
