Today's project: hyperbolic crochet

Inspired by the Institute For Figuring. This is what you get when you start with a round of six chain stitches, and double each stitch for six full rounds.

One of my future projects is going to be a pot-insulator set (most likely heavy washable wool), so that I can take food off the stove sooner.

Right now, I'm playing with how tiny I can make stitches and still be able to work with them.
