Now that the semester is done with, I find myself in a recovery state. Spent at least half of yesterday asleep - quite possibly more. If nothing else, it's a nice change from this semester's insomnia.

Expect me to be scarce here and in real-time communication media until earlyish January. I'll most likely be spending all of my social energy with [livejournal.com profile] zeightyfiv.

Also. In a previous entry, I mentioned having an abnormal EKG. It's been deemed not medically relevant, and explained to me that "abnormal" but harmless results are actually pretty common for women. (To the extent that some people want distinct male and female norming groups for EKG results. We'll see if that ever happens.)

Congratulations on the non-defective heart.

This makes me do a mental comparison between heart diagnosis and earthquake seismographs. The machinery is so sensitive that, on the lower end of the scale, you can't really be sure of that was really some earth movement or someone in the next town is practicing calisthenics.
