Lightbulb moment

There's a subset of people who seem to get a falsely positive view of my "togetherness", for lack of a better word, even when we know eachother pretty well. And that bothers me. I don't like being mis-estimated in either direction.

I realized just now that the set is populated mostly by high-anxiety people, and they could easily be responding to my lack of (expressed?) anxiousness rather than my actual circumstances. So if you're reading this and think of yourself as "high strung"... please consider whether you're mistaking the two.

Whether and how integration is a virtue is an interesting topic. Given that it's also a variable, someone might have an exaggerated view of your integration if you were more 'together' when writing a particular post. It seems to me more important to unbiased communication to get across the idea of flexibility, that you might have been that together *then* but that doesn't mean you are *now*, or vice versa.

best,
