(no subject)

This afternoon, zeightyfiv and I had lunch with goldkin and blackvoiddragon at Solsticio, which was fun. The restaurant is worth going back to, as well.

I developed a migraine on the way home and have spent pretty much all of the evening trying to wait it out. (I suspect that traffic blinkenlights were the trigger, but can't be certain.) The discovery of the day has been that, at least in the later stages, I can drown out the skull-splitting headache with a sufficiently warm hot pack. It's still uncomfortable, but a qualitatively more tolerable kind of discomfort.
